Summer Polos:
Three Styles, Two Ways

Summer polo editorial campaign

A long lunch, a relaxed office, dinner that carries on into the evening. Summer plans don’t always call for a shirt and jacket, but it still pays to dress well.

A knitted polo brings a little structure to everyday dressing. The collar frames the face, the knit adds texture, and breathable fabrics make it a comfortable choice for warmer days.

01. Work with warm neutrals

An ecru polo with a chevron knit brings interest to a simple outfit. Pair it with brown and taupe, keeping the surrounding pieces plain so the texture stands out.

Tuck into taupe tailored trousers, add a dark brown sport jacket and finish with brown suede loafers. The darker jacket gives the pale polo definition, while suede complements the knit’s soft texture.

02. Keep the contrast clear

A navy polo with light contrast trim offers a simple starting point. Its fine-gauge, 100% cotton knit feels soft against the skin, while the detailing gives the neckline definition.

Combine with navy tailored trousers and a cream cotton sport jacket. Keeping the polo and trousers in the same colour creates a continuous line, while the jacket picks up the lighter trim. Finish with brown leather penny loafers.

03. Lighten the palette

A sky-blue cotton polo brings freshness to neutral separates. Vertical ribbing adds subtle definition, giving a pale colour enough texture to wear on its own.

Pair with a taupe sport jacket, canvas-weave taupe trousers and brown suede double-monk loafers. The warmer neutrals balance the cool blue, making this a useful combination for summer lunches or an evening out.
